PayPal Enters Porn Market With Google

In a sneak preview of what’s to come, Google have announced a new alliance with web credit card provider PayPal in allowing secure payments for its new GooglePorn service.

Promising a more secure way for people to enter the GooglePorn associated sites, PayPornPal will be released in conjunction with the release of GooglePorn.

Jonathon Reedy, spokesperson for Google, stated today that PayPornPal provided the discrete and private payment mechanism that users of GooglePorn would adopt almost immediately.

“There will be no extra charge for the use of PayPornPal and no increase in the cost for transactions either; a real bonus for our porn users.” Reedy stated.

Privacy Advocates are concerned though that the alienation of payments through PayPornPal may lead to people being identified as users of porn more easily. PayPal currently identifies itself on a bank statement when a transaction is performed, as well as identifying the purchase content.

“In discussions with people such as the EFF, comments were raised about people’s privacy and association with porn. So when a user uses PayPornPal, the transaction will only read ‘PayPal’ as the provider and the transaction purchase will be renamed as something obsucre, like ‘gardening maintenance’ or something similar. We have a whole list of items that we will use in rotation in place of porn items.” Randy Jones, spokesperson from PayPal advised.

“If a user then has a complaint about an actual item, he or she only need take the identifying number from the transaction on their account, enter it into their PayPornPal account online and request assistance.” Jones added.
